DMVP® bamboo veneer is a high quality veneer. The production method is developed and patented exclusively by DMVP® (Patent nr. NL 1019971). By slicing sheets from a laminated block, a very thin bamboo veneer is produced. The laminated blocks are made from bamboo strips that are pressed to create the preferred look. Bamboo veneer is very fragile, that’s why it is strengthened with a cellulose fleece at the back. The backing makes it possible to easily press the veneer on a panel. Pressed on a panel, the bamboo veneer can be used in various applications in interior design and building industry.

DMVP® bamboo veneer is available in various sizes, colors and styles. On request it can be supplied with formaldehyde free adhesive (European E0 norm) and FSC®-certification. Almost all DMVP® bamboo veneer is offered in A-selection (regular in color). Therefore, the processing will be possible with a minimum of selection and cutting loss.

The DMVP® bamboo multi-layer veneer panel is made by pressing multiple layers (normally 3 or 5) of veneer. The resulting panel has excellent flexibility and strength, with no risk for cracks which can appear in the solid bamboo (1-ply) panels.

DMVP® Flexbamboo is a flexible bamboo product that can be used as covering material for walls, ceilings, cabinets or furniture. Flexbamboo is available on a roll and has to be placed on a carrier, for example a panel. Flexbamboo comes as a single bamboo strip version or a veneered version.

DMVP® solid panel is a visually appealing board product that consists of multiple layers of bamboo, available in multiple variations with respect to size, thickness, configuration, style and color. These bamboo panels are especially interesting in those applications where the side of the panel remains visible, such as steps of a staircase, furniture and kitchen work tops.

DMVP® 1-ply panel is mainly used as a panel covering material, where the bamboo is pressed, double sided, on a base (for example MDF or chipboard). Most applications require pressing on both sides of the base, to prevent possible bending. The result is a “sandwich panel”.

With the introduction of the DMVP® bamboo solid beam, bamboo can also be applied in several (semi) structural applications such as window and doorframes, where typically (expensive) scarce tropical hardwood is used.
